Movie Review: The Inhabitant (2022) October Horror Fest 2022 (19/31)

So, Lizzie Borden, you all heard of her. One of the most famous woman serial killer. So, what happened to her descendents? (Besides the ones she killed)

This story is set like 100 hundreds in the future of Lizzie timeline as her descedents try to live with her family curse. We've got the main protagonist (A young teen) that is starting to show some odd tendencies. Knowing of their past they think that is time she took medication although she doesn't want it.  Her mother convices her to see her aunt (mother's sister) because she was commited in the asylum after killing her baby child. Meanwhile in the city people are being killed by an axe.

The story then evolves into a cat and dog chase as everyone is trying to understand how the girl is killing people. By the end we come to realize that probably the young teen has just some psychocis but it's not  killer.

I enjoy the tale but don't expect anything really knew or groundbreaking.

Unfortunately didn't really expand on all the Lizzie stuff and there are some minor woke elements - the all boyfriend situation - why he is even there? He has like three lines in all the movie... _NPC. And gay friend and you could arrest half the town when she reported to the police that someone has sent her a d1ck picture.
