Book Review: Third Girl by Agatha Christie

Third Girl by Agatha Christie
Pages 365
Year 1966

I enjoyed the novel. First of all it's a typical Agatha Christie.
If you have been reading Agatha Christie chronologically you will know, read , expect & feel the differences between Agatha Christie of the 1920's & 1960's. It's a new era... people behave differently, it's not as focus on higher up class (nobles) and now more middle and such. Second she really portrays their characters accordingly with their age. Teens are more impetuous, irreverent a bit o evil.. not evil per se but lost, without purpose... One day I will investigate if she hated growing old & seeing society change into degenerate society that focus on oneself instead of society. That pretence that exist before and characters are more direct and don't hide.

Overall it's an interesting novel about a crime that may or not may be committed and Poirot, at least appear in all the book. He is now pretty old but still sharper than all others. I was happy with this novel and seeing Poirot for so much time. Oh by the way if Agatha Christie created Marple as she invisioned herself , then Ariadne Oliver is herself. A writer of mystery that tries helping Poirot.

8/10
