KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!

Konosuba is a very good anime. It's part comedy and part fantasy. This type of fantasy is being very popular nowadays. Re:Zero; Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka; No Game No Life, Overlord, Grimgar, Sword Art Online... Well you get the picture.

It's another real person and going to another world. But most beforementioned shows it's a boy being transported to the game world; in this case is not that. He is a gamer but he dies. A goddess grants him a wish. Either he returns to his own world with no memories (re-incarnation) or he goes to another world that exist and retain all his memories plus she will give him a bonus. He could ask for everything.

Synopsis
After dying a laughable and pathetic death on his way back from buying a game, high school student and recluse Kazuma Satou finds himself sitting before a beautiful but obnoxious goddess named Aqua. She provides the NEET with two options: continue on to heaven or reincarnate in every gamer's dream—a real fantasy world! Choosing to start a new life, Kazuma is quickly tasked with defeating a Demon King who is terrorizing villages. But before he goes, he can choose one item of any kind to aid him in his quest, and the future hero selects Aqua. But Kazuma has made a grave mistake—Aqua is completely useless!

Unfortunately, their troubles don't end here; it turns out that living in such a world is far different from how it plays out in a game. Instead of going on a thrilling adventure, the duo must first work to pay for their living expenses. Indeed, their misfortunes have only just begun!

Sato, Goddess Aqua, Crusader Darkness and The Wizard Megumi

Review
Let us talk about the characters... Oh my - they are amazingly funny.

You've got Darkness which is a... Crusader :) She has some good offences tactics but lack any kind of accuracy. But most important is that she is a tank... and a masochist so she enjoys getting beat up... Funny as heck. Later they find  her true name being Lalatina Dustiness Ford. 

Megumi is a wizard that descends from the Crimson Demons. She knows a very powerful spell called Explosion that one cast incapacitates for that day. She refuses to learn any "minor" magic spells.

Aqua is a Goddess and the one that presents our main character with the question. She becomes the first compantion of our hero. Her magical capabilities are almost useless and she's got no followers in the land. As being a Archpriest and Goddess (since this is a RPG) she is very powerful against demons and undead and even resurrect people. She spends most of her skill points learning useless party tricks.

Our main character is Kazuma Sato. He was obsessed with games and died in a most pathetic way from acute stress reaction. He chooses Aqua (in a way to punish her) He chooses the class of adventure that makes him learn various skills from other classes.

Episodes
The first episodes deal with Kazuma trying to get use to the world and the meeting with Aqua, Megumin and Darkness. Aqua made a deal with Kazuma (before he dragger her alone to the RPG world) that he would have to defeat Devil King and then he would resurrect.

Most episodes deal with their adventures to get money to have a place to sleep and experience to level up. Of the Devil King generals they defeated Verdia the Dullahan & Wiz the Lich works in wizard shop - don't know who she got there... but it's less one General.

This series are hilarious. I know they are coming back in January of 2017 and I will be eagearly waiting. I would advice to anyone who enjoys comedy, fantasy and some Fan Service. Yeah, didn't I talk about it? In every episode there is some fan service but ninth episode should be uncensored... Enough said.

Anime Review: Fudanshi Koukou Seikatsu (Summer 2016)

Synopsis

Sakaguchi is a high school boy and also a "fudanshi" who loves boys-love stories. He hangs out with his friends, a fujoshi named Rumi, his gay friend Yuujirou, fellow fudanshi Daigo, and his "normal" friend Nakamura.

I watch this anime more because it was fun and odd than because I was enjoying it. This anime deals with something that was strange to me. Fudanshi deals with love-boys-love. I am not very comfortable with the theme but I thought I would watch it since each episode was 5 minute long.

These series are fun & light. It's you are gay or enjoy gay animes, this is not for you. Basically I think this is not a Fudanshi but a Fujoshi. What's Fujoshi you ask? The Term is a self-mockingly pejorative Japanese term for female fans of manga and novels that feature romantic moments between two men - go search for Yaoi.

This anime, as I said it's a comedy anime. Don't expect nothing else or even something that resembles a story. It's simple and each episode self-contain. 

Should I advice it to you or anyone?

I really can't make it worth the trouble and time of watching it - still each episode is 5m. So in one hour your done. 

Anime Review: Amaama Inazuma (Summer 2016)

Well... This anime was a bit different from what I expected. The premise of this anime was how a young widower dealt with the loss of his wife plus a young female child (4 years?).

As a father (not widower)I watch the first episode and really enjoy it. I thought this was about this journey and maybe a new relationship. 

Unfortunately this anime was about food... yeah, what?? Yes, you read it. This anime is about food. More precise a young widower with a small child learns to cook guide with the help of a college teen with 16 or 17. 

And you now are thinking... are they getting together? Is this show about maybe their involvement? Nope. Nada. There isn't a single hint that the professor is in love with his student, probably the other way around is true...

This is a show about food. 

So, what can I say about it. Each show deals a couple of minutes for the child and the professor dealings and then they get together in a restaurant  (which is always close mind you) and cook with a Teen  (daughter of a famous cook).

Each episode we get to see more of the professor, the child but not so much of the Teen. There are also another two characters (one his a friend of the professor and the other a teen friend of the main-teen).

That's about it. If you want to learn about food then look no forward. If you want to learn about how to raise a child without another parent - probably not the best place. If you like food and like small children - then go for it.

But not all is bad.... I think the actress who portrays the child is awesome. There are some awesome moments and the child really behaves as a child would behave. She sometimes screw up (not that often), makes magic spells so the food turns out good, imagine things, think everything is good and nice and like watching Magi-Girl.

Good show. Probably not for everyone. Can't advice it unless you want a calm cooking anime.

Anime Review: Orange (Summer 2016)

Orange is a strange anime... 
Before everything one of the interesting things about this anime is the Time-Travel issue.

This last couple of seasons I watch three animes featuring some kind of time travel.

The first, and most famous is Boku Dake. This one deals with a human who travel back in time to save his friend and mother. He knew beforehand what was happening and so acted accordingly. He changed time. But one thing interesting is that he changed things and then had to live throughout is young life and teens all over again.

ReLife dealing with time-travel is a bit far-fetch I know; but what is interesting is that the main protagonist didn't travel back in time but had a change of being young again and with his own memories and so others may study how he would react to school. He tries to make other people lives a bit better and at the same time, I think, atone for his own sins.... I really enjoy it.

With Orange, reminds me a bit of a movie, the main protagonist receives a letter from herself. In that letter she says herself about a collegue and she must save him because he will die in a couple of months and in the future she and her friends will regret it.

This one is a bit different from Boku. Basically in Boku he returns to the past and live from that moment on to the present. In this we have two narratives. One where she is around 16/17 and another when she's got 26/27. One interesting way is that she from the beginning knows that he is going to die and she's got instructions of how to stop it. She doesn't follow to the letter and things happened as they were written, and she becomes more conscious of the letter contents and starts doing what is written. It's very funny the paradox....

One day, Naho Takamiya receives a letter written to herself from ten years in the future. As Naho reads on, the letter recites the exact events of the day, including the transfer of a new student into her class named Kakeru Naruse.

The Naho from ten years later repeatedly states that she has many regrets, and she wants to fix these by making sure the Naho from the past can make the right decisions—especially regarding Kakeru. What's more shocking is that she discovers that ten years later, Kakeru will no longer be with them. Future Naho asks her to watch over him closely.



Synopsis (Spoilers alert)
She sends the letters with key moments where she must to x or y, and no matter what she do and even if she changes that bit, other things happen like the letter forewarned. So, that letter after the initial thing she changed should be render inaccurate. So this presents with two things: First, the future is not meant to be changed or even if we change some parts others remain the same. Hmm...
One interesting point is the first time she reads it says she must not invite him to walk home with her and her friends and she does it and because of that his disturbed mother dies and he regrets choosing fun instead the appointment with his mother. Months later he commits suicide. What's interesting is that she only invites him because of the letter. If she hadn't receive the letter she would not have invited him and therefore nothing would happened. These paradox is what makes this show good. It seems the lesson here is: You can't change the past. (There was an interesting point in episode 5 where the teacher is saying that if they would change the past another timeline (parallel world) appears, so if you return to "your own" future nothing would have changed. It's like that paradox that makes a question... "Would be possible to me, to time travel to the past and kill my own grand father? If so, my father would not have been born and neither would me, therefore how could I traveled back in time?" This is the paradox of this show... 

Episode 6 ends with a cliffhanger and one "WOW" moment. It seems Naho (that's our main protagonist) was not the only one to receive the letter. It seems Suwa (Naho's best friend and in love with her - in the future they are married with one child).

Btw, the boy to be saved is Kakeru. The rest of the gang are Takako Chino, Saku Hagita and Azusa Murasaka.

The rest of the episodes run fast but are rather dull. So Naho, tries again and again to do what the letters say but I don't know why she doesn't get the change. Like in the last episode, she reads in the letter the day before he dies she would try three times to give some Valentine chocolate but never gives him and three times pass and she didn't give me. I really don't get her. So much love and nothing...

The ending, spoilers alert....................... They change the future but not because of HER particular. Basically he saw a phone where her dead mother send him a message (but stayed on the drafts) telling him that he should enjoy life and she was sorry for bothering him. He run amok with his bike and kill himself under a truck. In this timeline he run amok, not in the bike because Saku smashed it, but he could not send himself under the truck because he remembered all the good moments with the gang. The story ends there...

One thing I didn't talk about was the other timeline. It appears only a minute or so in the future and deals with Suwa being married to Naho with a child and the rest of the gang joining and making their respects to Kakeru and then decididing to change the world.

What's interesting is that Naho letter in no moment talks that Suwa was her future husband. But the rest of the gang, including Suwa knows that if the future is changed Suwa and Naho will not be together. Suwa knowing that helps everytime Kakeru and Naho, even if it drawns her away from him. He is undoubtly the most perfect man I have ever read about it. If I was gay I would like to have him Haha...

Now talking serious... time-travelling creates paradoxes and thus I have two questions:
There are countless universes with countless realities and each one even a small thing differs? Or time-travelling is not possible at all? So there is a reality where Suwa is with Naho and other where Naho is with Kakeru? I don't know...

There is a moving coming out in a couple of months that will deal with this follow up...

What I do know is this... Suwa is a perfect human being that sacrifices his love so her own love could be with another. In the future he says to his wife that Kakeru loved her - and thus making this all things happened. But what I learn is that Naho only is with Kakeru because he is going to died and ended up with Suwa because Kakeru dies. She does not love him. If she did love him how could she sent a letter back into the past making a new future where Suwa was not her husband. What about their child?? Damn... Time Paradoxes... But most of all... Suwa is the man.

Now let me talk about characters....
Suwa: Interesting guy, who loved everybody else more that himself. He even helps his wife date another man instead of him... 
Kakeru: Self-Piety is the only word (well, two) that I would describes him. Nothing he do, is good.
Naho: She knows she must change the future, she has a paper that says how to do it, and most of times her shy doesn't make sense to me. 

The rest of the characters are there in the background and don't make much impact. We know that Saku is Azusa have a thing - they are always picking on each other but nothing evolves (in the future they are not together). I even thought Azuza and Takako were lesbians...


In the end; should you watch the anime?

I don't know.... In the beginning I would have said yes, undoubtly yes. But then as the episodes progressed I was getting less and less from it. In time I just wanted to end and see how what would happen.... And I think the writers, producers failed to give us something more... In the end it was not Naho that saved Kakeru but the all gang, and to me that was bulshit, sorry. Why making Naho the main character then? 

I really don't understand... but know this. One episode we see in the eyes of Kakeru and the film is going to be in the eyes of Suwa. Don't know what will change but I will watch it. In the end I am in doubt If I would advice you to watch it but if you have 22min x12eps then watch it. Either way it's an experience...

Anime Review: Handa-Kun (Summer 2016)

Handa-kun is a sequel of Barakamon (even if chronological it's before).  Barakamon deals with Handa going to Goto islands and the interactions with it's people.  Bear in mind that I didn't knew Barakamon existed but after watching these series I am going to watch it.

Hated by everyone around him, Sei Handa goes about his high school life regarded as an outcast—or at least that's what he believes. In reality, Sei is the most popular student on campus, revered by all for his incomparable calligraphy skills, good looks, and cool personality. However, due an endless series of misunderstandings, Handa perceives the worship he receives from his legions of fans as bullying, leading the school's idol to shut himself off from the rest of his classmates.

But distancing himself from his peers doesn't deter them from adoring him; in fact, his attempts at drawing attention away from himself often end up unintentionally converting even the most skeptical of students into believers. Fashion models, shut-in delinquents, obsessive fangirls, and more—none can stand against the brilliance that is Sei Handa.

What do I like about it? 

It's fun and light-hearted. It made me laugh (inside) for all those episodes. No matter what he did people revered him and his actions. Handa thinks everybody hates him and since he doesn't have much interactions with other people he perceives emotions and mannerisms quite differently from reality. 

Each episode deals with a different person being in-loved with him. From the smartest guy from school to the prettiest. From the most hardcore guy to the most awesome girl. Everyone in the end revere him and they even name a festival in his name. 

His powerful outcast attitude even passes on to other schools that come either confront him or to ask him to take them under his wings. His powerful aura amazes everyone.

What I know is this... It's comedy, light and with some interesting puns and social interactions. If you enjoy Barakamon you should watch it - that's what I read. In my case, I have watch handa-kun so I will be watching Barakamon.

Bear in mind that this series have 12 episodes but each one divides in two parts. Each part deals with one person falling under his massive aura... The credits changes accordingly to incorportate all of his new friends.

Should you watch it?
The art is okay, nothing spectacular. The sound is sub-par. Besides when Eraser appears the sound is nothing particular interesting. The characters? Well every friends of his are well depicted and they all change because of Handa. Handa characterization is non-existent because he never changes until the last 5m of the last episode. He rarely says a word. There is no fan-service guys so if you searching it here - there isn't any. If you enjoy comedy series then I would say go for it. If you expect something more elaborate then this is not for you.... I would give it 6.5 out 10 for the all package. But for the fun-part I would give 8 out 10.

Eldritch Horror - Under the Pyraminds (and overall)

Eldritch Horror - Under the Pyramids expansion

Well this expansion came unexpectedly as a gift from my wife.  It was a nice gift and I am already playing a game with Nephre-Ka ancient one (one of the two who were in the game).  This ancient one was not in Arkham Horror (I think he was the Dark Phaorah a semi-boss if you will). They are giving us new ancient ones not presented in AH but the investigators are all the same - in these case we have 8 more and if they are putting all investigators from Arkham Horror there are 16 missing - which means what? Probably one big expansion and two smaller ones. I would like to see a big expansion focus on a city... We've got Antarctica and Egypt... I would like to see a big expansion in Arkham. Maybe even do it in some way you could use Arkham Horror boards? Yeah, that's too much I know....

So what is new in this expansion? Hmm, nothing much but we've got a thematic items, encounters, relics and spells. They are quite nice. There is also new Adventure Cards and Prelude Cards making every game different.

One problem with Arkham Horror was:
- choose ancient one
- choose investigators
- choose only main board or addon city
- choose if you are playing with some cards that will affect If something happens but...

mainly that was it. The play mechanices were no different from each game. And the mythos cards? With more than 120 but all felt the same - open portal, move monsters, spawn clue and something not too horrific happens

With Eldritch Horror you:
- Choose ancient one
- Choose investigator
- One random prelude cards (may give you an on set adventure cards to Antarctica, Egypt or other myriad of choices - some good and others not so good)
- And then the Mythos - you can choose if you want it hardcore or more on light side. Then you get a rumor... damn
- And the ancient one? He has 6 unique mystery cards. Today I draw three but tomorrow I could drawn another three and each one mystery is different. One is kill some epic monster, other is solve x mysteries or something like that.

Then talk about cards - 
Arkham Horror was more streamline. In the beginning I didn't thought so but now with one dozen different conditions you can be in debt, make a dark pact, hallucinate, hypothermia, you can be hurt on a myriad places, haunted and x,y,z. More than a dozen... and this impacts so much... 
- I was playing with four characters. I made an agreement to earn something - and then to my bad luck I had to pay for that agreement.... no dice roll. One of your companions dies... Choose! Damn!Bang!Fuck! and I am playing alone... imagine playing with four people... This truly makes the experience way better than it was possible in Arkham - but don't get me wrong - I enjoy Arkham Horror but Eldritch with all these expansions is becoming my favourite game. It's truly awesome...

Now, back to the game and choose, one to die...

Lys After watching Handa Kun, I learn that this one was a sequel (but made before)

Seishuu Handa is an up-and-coming calligrapher: young, handsome, talented, and unfortunately, a narcissist to boot. When a veteran labels his award-winning piece as "unoriginal," Seishuu quickly loses his cool with severe repercussions.  As punishment, and also in order to aid him in self-reflection, Seishuu's father exiles him to the Goto Islands, far from the comfortable Tokyo lifestyle the temperamental artist is used to. Now thrown into a rural setting, Seishuu must attempt to find new inspiration and develop his own unique art style—that is, if boisterous children (headed by the frisky Naru Kotoishi), fujoshi middle schoolers, and energetic old men stop barging into his house! The newest addition to the intimate and quirky Goto community only wants to get some work done, but the islands are far from the peaceful countryside he signed up for. Thanks to his wacky neighbors who are entirely incapable of minding their own business, the arrogant calligrapher learns so much more than he ever hoped to.

With the other performers growing suspicious and the threat of the circus' mysterious benefactor looming overhead, what the two discover will shake Ciel to his very core.

A series of misunderstandings leads to Chiyo becoming one of Nozaki's manga assistants.  Throughout the hilarious events that ensue, she befriends many of her quirky schoolmates, including her seemingly shameless fellow assistant, Mikoto Mikoshiba, and the "Prince of the School," Yuu Kashima. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun follows Chiyo as she strives to help Nozaki with his manga and hopes that he will eventually notice her feelings.

Acting as a collector of misfortune, she enjoys relieving the stress of her clients by providing them with the false hope of having their problems solved. Although Kanbaru sees no real harm being done, she reprimands Rouka for lying and heads home, relieved she is not the cause of the rumors. But when she finds that her left hand has reverted back to its human form, she may have a reason to worry after all...

Futaba Yoshioka used to be an attractive and popular middle-schooler—well liked by the opposite sex, but ostracized by the girls. Nevertheless, she was able to brush all that off, because the only opinion that truly mattered to her was that of Kou Tanaka, a classmate with whom she shared a shelter from rain once, followed by quite a few other precious and significant memories. Aldnoah.Zero (A-1 Pictures, TROYC) 12 Eps

The discovery of a hypergate on the Moon once allowed the human race to teleport to Mars. Those who chose to settle there unearthed a technology far more advanced than that of their home planet, which they named "Aldnoah." This discovery led to the founding of the Vers Empire of Mars and a declaration of war against the "Terrans," those who stayed behind on Earth. However, a battle on the moon—later called "Heaven's Fall"—caused the hypergate to explode, destroying the moon and leading the two planets to establish an uneasy ceasefire.  Their peace was a fragile one, however. Fifteen years later, high school student Inaho Kaizuka witnesses the plotted assassination of the Vers Empire's Princess Asseylum Vers Allusia, who had come to Earth in hopes of repairing the relationship between the empire and its homeland. The ceasefire is shattered, and the Martians declare war on the Terrans once again. In the face of this insurmountable enemy, Inaho and his friends must now fight against the Vers Empire to settle the war once and for all.

Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!? (TV)

After his father is transferred away for work, Koutarou must find a cheap place to live by himself while attending high school. He thinks that he's found just the place: Room 106 at Corona House. It's a small apartment, but it's only 5,000 yen a month rent, which is an impossibly cheap price! Add in the fact that he has a beautiful landlady and he thinks that he has it made－ at least until he starts to get some unexpected visitors.  One night Koutarou is visited by various girls, including a ghost named Sanae, a magical girl named Yurika, a girl who lives underground named Kiriha, and a princess from outer space named Theiamillis. All four of them claim that they need to have his apartment for their own reasons and thus need him to leave immediately. But he's not willing to give up his cheap apartment without a fight!  Before things can get too out of control, the landlady forces everyone to sign an agreement which states that they will all figure out who gets the apartment in a peaceful manner. Will Koutarou be forced out of his home before he can even finish putting his things away or will he be able to send his unwanted guests packing?

TV Series Review: Doctor Who (Season 8) 1971

Yes, it is right - it's the review of the "real" season 8 from 1971 and not the  season 8 from 2014.

I am watching these series from the first season in 1963 and if all goes well I will try to watch a season from time to time until I arrive in 2016 eheh

In this season we've got who (sorry for the pun)?

- Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee)
- Jo Grant (Katy Manning)

We also have not as main characters (albeit in my opinion) two should be...
- Brigadier Lethbridge-Steward (Nicholas Courtney)
- The Master (Roger Delgado) - our main antagonist, also a time lord.

Terror of the Autons(4Eps) (The first appearance of the Master) is a nice little story with 4 eps where the Master construct some beings out of plastic to kill people.  Mostly the set is inside an office, some outside parts and the UNIT labs.

The Mind of Evil(6Eps) - With 6 episodes is one of the largest and probably one of the most interesting. The Master creates the Keller Machine which in the beginning we think it's a new way to rehabilitate prisoners and then we learn that the reason for it is another. We learn more on The Doctor and it's main fears. We've got flashbacks from several other seasons before. This one is set on a prison with some coverage of UNIT Labs. There are some outside scenes  - These series are on black and white (The rest is on colour)

The Claws of Axos (4Eps) - This was deals with a strange species called Axos which supposedly are going to help humankind - but everything is a cover for the destruction of mankind. The Master is helping the Axos. In the end both the Master and Doctor help each-other.

Colony in Space (6Eps) - This was one the first outside earth story from the Third Doctor. The Timelords seeing that someone or something could unbalance the balance of the uinverse, and because they dislike to get their hands dirty, transport the Doctor to another planet 500 years in the future to stop once again The Master. Most sets are inside a warehouse, the bridge of Master's Tardis and the bridge of a spaceship).

The Daemons (5Eps) - is one supernatural tale where The Scientist Doctor tries to thwart a magical Master. Very interesting show. I read it was kind of scandal dabbling about the occult and satanism, and they couldn't even do what they intended with fear that the Church would fall on them. Nevertheless they made a great show. The Horned Beast after all is a demon. In the end they blow up a mockup church and they got dozens of letters disapproving it. Anyone who is alive in this era would know it wasn't real explosion or blow up buidling but to them it was state of the art special effects. Times are really different.

I dislike the "earth-bound" doctor. Of all three, this one is my least favourite. The first was a grand-father figurine who was never wrong and it was almost oblivious to everyone. But I like his pose, his almost aloof. He rarely change history and was very straight and serious. The second doctor, left most of these qualities behind and become a more fun, without care personality.He care about his companions and I enjoyed his personality. The Third Doctor was a more reflexive kind of guy, and only think about his own motives. He disdains everyone and everything but not Jo. He did things and help others because it help him. The Master tries to convert him and I think a part of him wanted to join the Master.

My favourite episode was the Daemons. I heard it was also Pertwee's favorite. There  isn't a weak one but If I had to choose one it would be the Claws of Axos.

Anime: Fall 2014

It's taken a while of reviewing, so I will basically say what I want to watch and a couple of famous shows...

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (8.92 - Top 15!!!) by A-1 Picture (Your Lie in April)

Based on the manga series of the same name, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso approaches the story of Kousei's recovery as he discovers that music is more than playing each note perfectly, and a single melody can bring in the fresh spring air of April.

They existed long before anyone can remember. They are simple and strange in nature, not resembling any other plant or animal in this world. In ancient times, people revered these bizarre creatures and called them "Mushi."

All life exists not to hinder others in this world.

They are simply there to live as they were meant to.

Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu (8.60) Top 64 (Parasyte -the maxim-)

All of a sudden, they arrived: parasitic aliens that descended upon Earth and quickly infiltrated humanity by burrowing into the brains of vulnerable targets. These insatiable beings acquire full control of their host and are able to morph into a variety of forms in order to feed on unsuspecting prey.

Sixteen-year-old high school student Shinichi Izumi falls victim to one of these parasites, but it fails to take over his brain, ending up in his right hand instead. Unable to relocate, the parasite, now named Migi, has no choice but to rely on Shinichi in order to stay alive. Thus, the pair is forced into an uneasy coexistence and must defend themselves from hostile parasites that hope to eradicate this new threat to their species.

LYS: I have one show on my cellphone to watch it full. I watch the trailer and I really enjoy it...

Terra Formars (7.13) -  LIDENFILMS

Akari Hizamaru will do anything for his beloved childhood friend, including participating in an underground cage fight against a wild bear! As ridiculous as it sounds, Akari does not have any other choice. His friend is dying of a mysterious virus, and the fight is the only way he can get the money to pay for the procedure she so desperately needs. At first glance, it seems like Akari has no chance of beating the dangerous animal, but the brawl reveals that he might have some strange abilities of his own.

Unfortunately, he discovers he has been betrayed and his dear friend may be beyond help. In the aftermath, he meets two people who are part of an organization intending to send a manned mission to Mars. Prior expeditions to Mars ended in disaster when the explorers encountered hostile, mutant cockroaches. Now, they plan another mission with the sole purpose of exterminating the giant monsters because they may be connected to the mysterious virus that is plaguing mankind. Why are there giant cockroaches on Mars? And why does Akari have mysterious abilities that make him well-suited to fight these mutants?

Madan no Ou to Vanadis -  Satelight ( Lord Marksman and Vanadi)

Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken (: I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying)

Hajime Tsunashi is an otaku shut-in that runs a blog, attends anime conventions with his cross-dressing younger brother, and is a surprisingly good cook. Kaoru Tsunashi is a hard-working, smoking, socially-drinking office lady with an overprotective father. Despite coming from two completely different worlds, these two couldn't be more in love with one another… even if she has trouble understanding the vast and complicated world of anime and manga that her husband is deeply entrenched within.

Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken is a slice of life anime that explores the life and times of a newly married couple, filled with heartwarming scenes that showcase how the two of them grow as people through their relationships and their friends.

Psycho-Pass 2 (second season of Psycho Pass)

Justice, and the enforcement of it, has changed. In the 22nd century, Japan enforces the Sibyl System, an objective means of determining the threat level of each citizen by examining their mental state for signs of criminal intent, known as their Psycho-Pass. Inspectors uphold the law by subjugating, often with lethal force, anyone harboring the slightest ill-will; alongside them are Enforcers, jaded Inspectors that have become latent criminals, granted relative freedom in exchange for carrying out the Inspectors' dirty work.

Into this world steps Akane Tsunemori, a young woman with an honest desire to uphold justice. However, as she works alongside veteran Enforcer Shinya Kougami, she soon learns that the Sibyl System's judgments are not as perfect as her fellow Inspectors assume. Log Horizon 2nd Season (Second season of Log Horizon)

Veteran gamer Shiroe and other players have been trapped in the world of the online game Elder Tales for six months. The once chaotic city of Akiba has regained its everyday hustle and bustle following the formation of the self-governing organization Round Table Meeting. The earthlings, who are originally from the game world, have gained the trust of Shiroe by waging a defensive war against the Goblins in Zantleaf Region. This has led Princess Rayneshia of the Cowen family, the highest-ranking Earthling Aristocrats, to live in Akiba.

It's almost winter and the Adventurers are thinking about what they're going to do and what their goals are in this other world. Will they remain in Akiba or go to the city of the West? Grisaia no Kajitsu ( The Fruit of Grisaia)

Yuuji Kazami is a transfer student who has just been admitted into Mihama Academy. He wants to live an ordinary high school life, but this dream of his may not come true any time soon as Mihama Academy is quite the opposite. Consisting of only the principal and five other students, all of whom are girls, Yuuji becomes acquainted with each of them, discovering more about their personalities as socialization is inevitable. Slowly, he begins to learn about the truth behind the small group of students occupying the academy—they each have their own share of traumatic experiences which are tucked away from the world.

Mihama Academy acts as a home for these girls, they are the "fruit" which fell from their trees and have begun to decay. It is up to Yuuji to become the catalyst to save them from themselves, but how can he save another when he cannot even save himself?

World Trigger

When a gate to another world suddenly opens on Earth, Mikado City is invaded by strange creatures known as "Neighbors," malicious beings impervious to traditional weaponry. In response to their arrival, an organization called the Border Defense Agency has been established to combat the Neighbor menace through special weapons called "Triggers." Even though several years have passed after the gate first opened, Neighbors are still a threat and members of Border remain on guard to ensure the safety of the planet.

Despite this delicate situation, members-in-training, such as Osamu Mikumo, are not permitted to use their Triggers outside of headquarters. But when the mysterious new student in his class is dragged into a forbidden area by bullies, they are attacked by Neighbors, and Osamu has no choice but to do what he believes is right. Much to his surprise, however, the transfer student Yuuma Kuga makes short work of the aliens, revealing that he is a humanoid Neighbor in disguise.

TV Series Review: Zoo - Season Two

First Thoughts
Zoo was one of those series that I watch eagerly it would be the last season. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy the first season and I was interesting to see where they were going. A cure was being made, so how would they have room for a season 2. And then in middle of Season 2 we got the information that would be renewed for a third season. It's very strange this... I will watch it but I don't think it will be good.... More on that later on on this review...

Synopsis / Episode  Review 1-3 and Impressions

Jackson was bitten by animal and the marks look alike a phase two mutation. Only Chloe knows... Jamie is stranded in North Canada where he finds another survivor. Mitch, Chloe, Jacks on and Abraham are searching everywhere for that phase 2 mutation. They went from Argentina, where they saw first hand a level 2 mutation on humans, making it a bit crazed psychopath with body mutations. There they grab A new member, Dariela, as joining the team a girl from Sao Paulo and already "mated" Abraham.

The only one in the politics helping the gang, Eleanor, was killed by Ants by electric shock. The Ants are Magnetizing and making explosions through electric pulse and they are converging on the Large Particle Accelerator which would make a runaway fusion reactor with a 1000 Klms explosion. 


Interesting is that after Jackson was bit by an animal the other animals are not attack him.

Meanwhile in North Canada Jamie was kidnapped by some guy who was tracking her leopard.

Interlude

Noah Objective is to kill all animals and repopulate anew... How tha fuck are you doing that? There are trilions of trilions of trilions in the animal kingdom. From microscopic  to Blue Whales. How the heck are you killing all without killing you? There a million ants per human.... If every ant was part of a Hive and they wanted to kill you... You would be dead.

I think every scientist, in the show or is dumb or dead. 90% of all flora depends on animals to polinazation... So, if you kill all animals it would take decades (and only if it can be done) to restore a balance with this new created animals. What 6 billions people eat for those years or decades.... You would have to kill all animals and fish and insects. These show borders the ridicule...

Fan Fact - We are depended on 5 species to survive:

Plankton (photosynthesis - 50% of all air comes from them and not plants and tree), Butterflies (they predict climate change), Honeybees pollination), Bats (main eater of insects. populations throughout the world would suffer and probably died if Bats weren't around) and Fungi (recyclers of Earth)

Episode  Review 4 - 13 and Impressions

Episode 4

Jackson and the human mutants have the same genes & mutations. Probably five weeks until the final stage. Beavers are changing the rivers.

The army capture a sloth who was capable of creating an earthquake... I'm sorry. Come again? WTF? It seems the sloth developed a call that generate a low frequency infrasound... The explanation was that in Seatle in a football game the adepts were jumping up and down that registered in the seismographic machine. 

In Vancouver the bulding where the sloth crashed down. Moles.

They storm Raiden Global headquarter to kidnapp the sloth and learn the way the army is going to kill all animals is true a chemical spray that will kill anything that has the mutant strain. This would kill all humans like Jackson. 

When they are trying to leave Chloe is stuck in a place where she is engulf by the gas they are releasing and loses conscious.

She says to Dariela where Jamie is.

Episode 5 - 6

They save Chloe just so she can die right in the beginning of the episode. Realy? I like her... What's the purpose of killing her?  enfin... Claire Tousignant you will be missed... Something must have happened. Meanwhile Jamie sees Caraquet burning.

Jackson is crying black oily tears...

The plane they are travelling was hijacked and they meet Allison Deputy Secretary Defense (Warehouse 13 - Myka), Mitch stepmother. She is working against the General Davies. With Eleanor and Chloe dead she must coordinate because Gen Davies must not know that the food chain (the biggest orchads in west coast) or else he use it to pass the bill on Noah's Objective.

Caraquet overrun five months before and so the villagers left the city and burn the city. They said that the army run and went to their kin and such. Strange is that this series, besides some attacks we don't see anything globally or we don't get much information on what is happening, so to me, this Caraquet scene is a bit overstretch...  They don't leave that refugee (hundreds of people) and nobody cares about them. No phone (??). This is soooo over stretch...

They find out that all over the place glass is growing on the soil of the trees. Most trees won't grow nothing. People already are stopping eating meat and now fruit? 

So this glass it seems it's snake skin and that guy had a snake inside him.

Triple-Helix & Genomic fossils (Extinct Genes)

Finally they find Jamie and her friend.

Episode 7 - 8

Dariela pick up some survivors in England and vow to take them to safe place. At the same time in the plane The general and his troops invade the plane but after a brief confrontation they are defeated. It seems Abraham have a new history (it wasn't revealed - that ahhhhh moment) - It seems he new Jackson's father long before everything happened...

Episode 9

After searching so far they finally discover Jackson's mother and Jackson himself had to kill her after she tried to kill Abe.

SHOCK (several times - this episode looked like a soap opera novella...)

It seems the animal they found in the grave it was a saber-tooth cat (relative to saber-tooth tiger) but it was instinct for ten thousand years. They are going to Helsinki to find a cryptozoologist... Mitch's Dad

It seems that Abe knew Robert OZ long before he met his new friend. It was Abe that inject Oz's mother with the gene (unbeknownst to him).

Allison was Mitch's girlfriend when his father hook her up... "I was young and stupid..." 

Abe told Jackson it was him who injected his mother and he attack him. When he is striking the last blow Dariela appears and shots him and he escapes the plane.

Allison afterwards is seen in bed with Mitch by Jamie.

It seems in the island of Juan Fernández there is an island who makes experiments animals... extinct animals.

Noah Objective in 3 days

Episode 10

Jackson goes AWOL in an hospital. They finally track Robert OZ with the Help of Minister of Defense from USA. Jackson asks Vera Salmon (an old lady) to go to their friends since she's got also the virus and can be their incubator (she is far less advanced that Jackson).

Dariela is pregnant from Abe but he doesn't know.

Allison tells Jamie that she is in love with Mitch.... But Jamie doesn't say anything.

Jackson tells Abe through a letter that he forgives him. They are not friends but brothers. 

Robert Oz was gone and killed a trooper.

As Jackson is going to confront General Davies, Robert Oz appears and saves him.

Episode 11 

Jackson appears in the plane with his unconscious father.

A nice homage to star wars as (music of the empire) when presenting Russian Embassy in USA.

It seems the Russia is against the Noah Objective but after an animal attack on the Russian embassy, made by the Americans, they are in favor of Noah Objective yet again..

It seems Jackson father thought what he did was to help both his son and ex-wife but somehow the virus mutated.

Episode 12-13 (Hour and half episode)

So  it seems the plan went right ahead and with the help of the islands scientists they had a cure. Jackson's father sacrifices to help his son and cured him. Meanwhile they went back and the animals are good to go - and everyone is safe. The gang soon discovers that what they released with the million birds was two things - First the noah objective went ahead and cure the animals BUT the birds who supposedly were to cure the malign gene was a way to.... drums drums drums... 

to make humankind sterile!

They escape and last we see Mitch is being killed by some hybrids animals... The gang then reunite with Mitch's daughter and say that he saved the world.

The episode goes forward several years and we see Dariela and Abraham in a graduation and we learn that those children were the last to be born in the world (and the world continued to exist) - several armed forces were present there - it seems the world is not that safe anymore...

Mitch's daughter then talks to Abraham and makes another ahhhh moment - Mitch is alive.

Conclusion

This series are good believe me. But I think they should be made as a single season or at least ended here. Earth is our place as is every species place. We don't own earth. We aren't more important than a cat or spider - but man behaves that way. It's should not be more important saving a man's life than an animal. We need the animals but the other way is not true. Only a couple animals need man - the milking cows, basically that. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Camels are all independent animals and can return to the wild (with casualties of course) - Probably not all races of animals but the majority would do it. 

We give too much importance to us. This series if they ended with humankind sterile would be an interesting show because not everything much ended with hope and beautiful things. And now they want to have a season 3, bringing back Mitch (probably most people's favorite character) and a way to solve humankind baby problem... I don't know where they are going... I am going to watch it but I am not have much hope for it....

And why did they killed off Chloe? It makes no sense.
