Book Review: Ancient Images October Horror Fest 2023 (24/31)

Ancient Images Ancient Images by Ramsey Campbell
My rating: 2 of 10 stars
Pages : 299
Year : 1989
Genre : Horror (...)
Series : Solo

This is not the first or second book from Ramsey that I have not enjoyed. This author clearly is not for me. I've tried Scared Stiff which was not that good but since it mix genres that I usually don't enjoy I Thought that was it. Then I try The Doll Who Ate his Mother which I felt bland and boring with the first 130 pages of nothing. , Also To Wake the Dead. Both I didn't even finished. This one went the same way. Supposedly it was a good story. A woman is trying to find a movie her friend was also searching and dying/being killed due to it. So the vast majority of 150 pages or more is just going around to x and y person involved on that movie and getting something... It has some eeriness but the vast majority is just BORING! No Horror. Nada. I ended up phrases because I was so bored and wanted to get over after investing 200 pages. I am utterly disappointed. 2/10

I have more of his books AND it's strange that all books I have only one has a more decent rating on goodreads so probably it's not a situation it's not me it's you situation.
I got the influence, The namelesss, count of eleven, midnight sun, hungry moon and finally two with more decent rating cold print (lovecraftian stuff) and far away and never (sword and sorcery).

Oh my... I am truly aghast with this experience. I went without reading anything for 2 days!

Movie Review: Murdercise (2023) October Horror Fest 2023 (5/31)

Who thinks this is good? To be honest, who created this and thought, OK this is fine horror movie. Don't worry...

You've got a bunch of prostitutes dancers who see no problem doing anything for fame, even sex. But there is one girl, who is doing for the "right" reasons. Imagine in the 80's a catholic girl doing dances (almost erotic) but thinking is god's work (or something like that). She even names Reagan (the president). So you know it's going to be good.

The story is almost non-existent and I got bored as fuck watching it. What was the purpose? Okay, people taken to extremes will do, extreme things? Even self-righteous ones? Yeah...

Skip it or Watch it? Well fucking skip it. Not even worthy for the pair of boobs you see in the beginning. Okay. Watch the first 5m and close the player

Movie Review: Evil Dead Rise (2023) October Horror Fest 2023 (3/31)

How the might have fallen...  As the vast majority of novels who are trying to make remakes, sequels and the such are destined to be bad. They try to emulate the original books with a "modern" view and they fall. The one that is more destined to fall is Snow White - which no longer is white, no longer feature dwarves OR as the words of main character, the male character is not even needed. She bluntly say that in an interview, all the respect for the actor but his scenes are well rather pointless - it's so ugly to spit on that. She spits on the 1937 snow white, saying it was scary. Can't this idiots understand that they shouldn't spit on the fanbase that gave means to have a remake? Bound to fail, I will gladly laugh. And in this case the fault is with the actress.

The Evil Dead franchise was not only due to the monster but the main protagonist that really gave life to the series - Bruce Campbell. Here is not present. So, 60% of all interest is gone. The Evil Dead is horror but it's always comic. There is blood, there is gore and other stuff BUT always comic. Here, the comic is gone, so less 20% of interest.

I don't want to say, of a franchise I enjoy, but I have to be true, this was boring, pointless. If you remove the Necronomicon references this could be any other trapped family in a haunted house with a possessed being. Adding necronomicon and those camera shots you all know (where it goes forward with a wind sound) and that's it, a new horror stuff.

The characters... what a heck? The girl looks and behaves like a boy and the boy looks and behaves like a girl. Did they switch roles. One thing, the positive is the main woman (antagonist). Her face is scary as fuck although she really is not that well portrayed so you don't really care about what happened to her. it's a shame.
I think the only character you care is the little girl unfortunately I think the only reason WHY is because it's a little girl. Apart from that, bland as other.

Damn they wasted a lot of fake-blood.
Truly awful stuff... Wish I could have my 1h30 back. 2/10

Movie Review: Meg 2 - The Trench (2023) October Horror Fest 2023 (1/31)

This was one of the most disappointing movies I've watch. This is the reason why you shouldn't make remakes. First of all, We all are interesting in Meg and Big Sharks, on TV; on Real Life they would be scary as shit, probably so scare you would die. We are talking about a monster of 20 meters or more. The mouth bigger than you are tall. Let's be real. You would die of fright.

This novel follows the next one, several years have pass and they have a Meg in captivity. Yeah, right.
You've got here the same people doing somekind of vigilante stuff against people who pollutes and such - why not?

They now travel between our seas and where the Megs live and they go there from time to time, to do what? we will never know... Meanwhile they find mercenaries destroying the place for rare metals, because why not? They switch from humans vs Megalodons to  humans vs humans... it's a action movie turn political, just because nowadays why the fuck not.

The characters behave idiotly , they have space to make jokes and behave comically even when everyone around them is either dying or turn to dark side. Then there is the all ending, which makes me wonder, how the fuck the three MEG pass the impassable barrier? Better, how the other monsters passed two? Then why the Megs want to kill ONE person specifically? Are they intelligent? Then the bombs, the characters having the right stuff on the right place. Mercenaries being killed off but little children, un-military people surviving. IT's like idiotic. It's like the monsters know who they must target. Idiotic beyond belief. It's one of those movies that I for the love of the gods can't understand being funded. Why? so they feel good with themselves? fighting the climate change, fighting pollution, etc? fuck off.

Book Review: Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero

Meddling Kids Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero
My rating: 2 Stars out of 10
Pages 442
Year 2017

I love Lovecraftian Horror & Love Scooby Doo as a teen. This was hinted as a Lovecraftian Scooby Doo but in adults flashbacks their kid lives. I read the first 250 pages (so more than half the book) and it was nothing like that. Okay the author enjoyed scooby doo so he made four protagonists (two girls & two boys) plus a dog. That's where the similarities end. For 250 pages I saw no hint of horror whatsoever. IT was slow pace, horrible dialogue and talks... sometimes the author put something the name of the person who was talking and what they said and then author character and so on for pages... the reason? probably do not saying, "bla bla" said Kerri "bla bla" said Andy etc.. What a crappy writing facilitator. Then there is the all romance thing where you've got Andrea (Sorry Andy) who is a girl and loves girl. So what? Nothing new in today age. But the way the author presented this lesbian (She is not trans, stop fuming about it) it felt wrong.. There is a conversation where she hinted to another girl, how do you know you don't like woman, have you tried it? What a heck is this logic? I don't like eating shit, I don't have to try it do I? I don't want to do drugs, I don't have to try it, do I? Moron. BTW, she was able to turn the non-lesbian to lesbian. Imagine that a man saying that to a lesbian? Wanna fuck? I am going to turn you after you taste my shaft. this man would be cancelled on the spot.

There was an author talking about TW for Transphobia. WHAT book did you read? Where was this transphobe? It was uncomfortable representation of lesbian without a doubt but transphobe? I don't agree.

2/10 for bad dialogue, bad story, bad characterization and worst of all, boring.

Movie Review: My Best Friend's Exorcism (2022) October Horror Fest 2022 (24/31)

So I've just finish the book and I gave it a 8 stars. Then I finished the movie and I thought what a bunch of crap. Why did the director and writer butcher Hendrix book? Wtf did I just watch? They just destroyed half the book to smithers - like the interaction between Abby & Gretchen, how they met, how their friendship grew, all of that lost. Then start putting nowdays politics unto the movie including making Glee gay and Margaret shaming. WTF? Then the all Glee nut alergic stuff WTF... Abby is just weird here but on the novel she is strong. Like in the movie she even gaves up on Gretchen while on book she goes against everything and everyone to fight for Gretchen. The exorcist guy is crap compare with the book one. And then the all family interaction between both Gretchen & Abby parents is non-existant here. By the gods how to make a bad adaptation.~

What about that ending? WTF Is that daemon? Looks like more a house elf from harry potter... WTF? How that skinny dipshit has 30 legions under him? WTF? OH my god I am upset.

Stop screwing with movies with your politics & please be more faithful in them.

In the movie the ending is bad - wtf is that oh wallace did this and that, body positiviy movement margaret stuff etc.. WHAT?

Please read the book. Its just a different league.

Book Review: Shadow of the Vulture - Regina L Garza Mitchell

Author: Regina L Garza Mitchell
Book: Shadow of the vulture
Year: 2021
Pages: 96
Part of Series: Splatter Western (9)
Reading Time: July 2022 (2 days)
Rating: 2 Stars

I couldn't enjoy this novel at all... I will say after my biggest problem but my problem was the purpose of this story. The back cover says something and really looked interesting and then the book suffers by too many named characters that serve no purpose and the story is just a guide to revenge*rage and so on... I hope more. Maybe it was the length maybe it needed more pages too fully develop everyone but alas...

My main problem is the abhorrent hate towards white people the everyone non-white portrays and it really feels that even the writer hates white people. Mexicans - which are most a mix of spaniards and indigenous people not counting the white mexicans. The problem here is that racism is a very recent term, early 19th century. There was always the thought that the winner takes the land they conquer; it was in usa, it was with mexico. Or do mexicans forget what they the war on yucatan between mayas and mexicans , the wars against indians while being the mexican empire. All countries have their history filled with blood and all peoples are racist. Alas this book made me think the deep hatred that must exist towards white people for what they did 150 years ago.

Couldn't enjoy the novel because every single chapter there was racism racism racism.... Don't know what to say more. Nothing against people who thrive on scream racism to anyone - but you know people kill other people because of well anything. It's not racism just because one white kills a mexican because of money or revenge or petty jelously or just because he is evil. Why can't people understand that.

Alas, I skip the 8 because it's a trilogy. I am going to leave it to the end...

Book Review: Tinfoil Dossier Trilogy - Caitlin R Kiernan

Author: Caitlin R Kiernan

Book: Agents of Dreamland; Black Helicopters; The Tindalos Asset
Year: 2015/2017/2020
Pages: 125 / 202 / 176
Part of Series: Tinfoil Dossier Trilogy
Reading Time: 7 days (5 & 6 September 2021; 16 to 18 October 2021 and 14 to 15 January 2022)
Rating: 4 & 2 & 1 stars

Agents of Dreamland
I may say that up front I didn't enjoy it. To weird for me. Discovery we follow the guy was trying to find something, discover, uncover something. Next chapter it's just other person and it's very confusing at times to understand what's happening or who's talking and so on. To be quite honest it didn't felt that felt like a complete novel which it isn't since there are two sequels. Maybe I am at fault but it seem two different writers.. some interesting thoughts on the fungus and the zombie ants and a different type of Cthulhu stories.. I will read the 2 and 3 without a doubt .

Black Helicopters
Well, what we have here it's the second novel in the Tinfoil series.

I've read the first a couple of months ago and I didn't enjoy it. But I know Caitlin is well received as a Lovecraftian horror master but alas, I just couldn't get into it. The book is 200 pages long and it's boring and pointless. First of all, I may be at fault here. Maybe I am not erudite to fully understand the novel but I couldn't. Of course I understood the plot - overall it follows the first but I guess you can read it without having read the first - although it makes zero sense to start at book 2 of a series.

So what is the story and why I didn't enjoy it. - first of all the constant changing of timelines every chapter. This confuse me. Then you've got the plot itself and I couldn't understand anything. You've got spies in Dublin, you've got ships, you've got the black and white queen stuff, you've got the future where the writing was even more incomprehensible (probably just saying that writing from the 1800 it's different from nowadays so probably the future will sound/read differently.

Bear in mind that by the descriptions I hope something more akin Lovecraftian but what I got was some weird stuff- probably Weird Fiction is all about? I didn't felt any kind of horror or fear - nada that I could say it's Lovecraftian. To mention Shoggoths and labelling as Lovecraftian it's like saying that anything has four tires it's a care. It doesn't work like that. It could be a wagon or anything in-between. The only connection is that a car and a wagon has four tires...

Then why the chapter with people speak in French? Damn... Those non-translated sentences... I thought okay they are talking in French and in-between someone will explain what it means... Well, nope.
Sucks to be you - who don't know French haha...

Overall I will read the third one but coming from the 1 and 2 maybe i will be disappointed... I hope not

The Tindalos Asset
Here it is the third instalment on the series.
How is this horror, lovecraftian horor for that matter?
It took Caitlin a couple of years to release this novel and it shows... it's convoluted, confusing timelines and very strange characters. I didn't enjoy at all, even comparing with the previous 2 (and bear in mind all are bad..)

I would love to say something good but I cannot.

Movie Review: Black As Night - October Horror Fest (15/31)

 Dear White People,

No matter the movie comign out since 2017 or so, you are either the evil (99%) or at most you are crappy. 100% are racist, just because you exist. Just because you were born with that pigmentation. You probably are mysogist, hater of lgbt etc.

You are what you are because you are white.

Signed
Some black folk & LGBT community united (BLM?)

Well, the movie Black As Night is a amazon movie that delves deeper in the Katrina survivors (black people survivors) while being plague by Vampires.

You've got a black girl & lgbt hispanic friends who tangle themselves in a wide conspiracy where vampires are rising in great numbers and getting ready to take over the world. Alas, I was very interesting because it was a different approach. And on contrary you may believe I am not racist and I don't mind watching films with full black cast. What I hate is using tropes, woke, white-hateful plots just to further your goal.

What we have here is a black slave that is building an army to conquer the world (or New Orleans, whatever come first) and the two friends with the help of a third black character & a white know it all girl battle the evil. Again, all in all it was very interesting take on the vampire genre BUT the problem is the white hate that serve no purpose. Of course the ones who plague the vampires were white. You even have the white chick saying (after some comments) that "white people are terryfing". WTF? Amazon, have you gone so low that you this kind of hateful stuff?

Now white people let's make a movie where we have some hateful comments against black - like called them niggers (like most of the black characters do to one another) and complain they are evil and scary and unsafe? What say? Do you think this would sell?

Enfin.. I cannot give this movie a good rating because of all the hate against white. If you had skip those parts (even if it was the white character part) this would be a solid 7. But, alas, this serve no purpose whatosever - no going forward , no plot place- nada. Just hateful racist...

In terms of plot it's copy paste from other movies out there, nothing new. Beforehand I thought they were going through some social stuff, like homeless, poor drug users kind of stuf - that would be mildy better but after 20m it's all garbage and focus on action.

Movie Review - Pentagram (2019) October Horror Fest (5/31)

Well, after watching Soul I immediately started with this one since it was recommend. What a crappy movie my god.

Everything in it was bad - from the plot to the characters without any really bright light in acting.

You've got four people that commit a crime, robbing a diner and escaping to an abandoned house. there they find a guy doing some weird demonic crap where he needs a victim to get something from Beelzebub. A sacrificial lamb. Unfortunately, for him, the supposedly victim left the pentagram and she was killed by this demon and the guy within the lamb had to wait for the next victim (probably die of hunger).

There comes this four idiots who enter the pentagram and now they must either sacrifice one of their own OR die. Of course they do stupid stuff killing the only guy who could do the sacrifice..

Then one of the guys start turning against the others killing one of them and wounding another - the last one was basically in coma due to drugs ending with only two people alive (Brother and Sister). Then one sacrificed for the other leaving the last one free to escape the pentagram.

The last scene two people (the ones that were robed) enter the pentagram to retrieve the money and had to go through as the previous ocuppants.

You have to watch it if you want to understand the level of bad acting, plot and quite frankly everything. There's a reason to have 2,6 rating in IMDB.

Not even a bit of nudity that goes a long way to save some movies to be total disaster... there is a woman in some undercloth that probably would shame my grandmother. That's it.

Book Review: The Imago Sequence and Other Stores - Laird Barron

The Imago Sequence and Other Stories by Laird Barron
My rating: 2 of 10 stars

I am very disappointed...
First I am disappointed that this book was not as Lovecraftian I thought it would be. It's more weird, noir fiction that horror. To be honest, only probably the first story had some horror and the title story. The remaining were just weird - some I didn't understood what was happening... I sincerely felt lost in most tales - mainly Hallucigenia, Bulldozer, Black Sloth were very unreal and probably that was the purpose but I couldn't connect with anything - even the plot.
Old Virginia was the only one with a clear plot.
So my conclusions are:
a) maybe I am not an erudite regarding this kind of writing?
b) maybe is just not that good?
If goodreads is something to take into consideration by option it's A.... well... who knows.

There were some stories that were connected which - at least Imago was with Parallax.
The second possible disappointing thing is that I also bought The Croning, Occultation, The Light of Darkness so... Let us hope they are better/different.

This year of 2021 has started on a bad note...But I must phrase that you should be totally confident that this is a bad book. It's just weird to me - Writing skill it's great. It remind me of Vandermeer writing...

Book Review: Night Songs - Charles L Grant

I couldn't finish this book the way I wanted it. From the hundredth page it became boring with no plot and characters. Not like other person here the "racism" and misconceptions didn't bother me. I can understand that different times had different views and I try to understand those views. People not enjoying Lovecraft because he was a racist it's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Everyone was like that back in the day. All our forefathers (and mothers because I don't want to offend the feminists) had something we may disapprove nowdays. how can I criticize them? different times.

Back to the book. It's boring. Plotwise crap. Characters are several but boring. Enfin not advisable to anyone. Wished for a bit more "horror".

Book Review: Perpetuity Blues and Other Stories - Neal Barret Jr

Perpetuity Blues and Other Stories Perpetuity Blues and Other Stories by Neal Barrett Jr.
My rating: 2 of 10 stars

This was a weak anthology of stories (in my opinion).
Maybe to someone else they will do nicely. To me, not so much.

Most of them are quite bland - leading nowhere. Most of them have a post-apocalyptic feel to them but are too absurd for me. Maybe this was te premise of that movement. Nevertheless there are a couple of stories that I enjoy (with reservations).

First Class of 61. In a world where most mankind have suddenly dissappear and aliens have come to earth. One of these aliens need a "ghost" hunter. The story is a bit better than others but, who are the aliens, why did they came, where are the rest of the population? Neither questions are answerable and the ending as all other stories come short of a proper conclusion. It just happens.

The other story is the Winter on the Belle Fourche. The best of them all but forgettable and confusing. A psychadelic western with sf and fantasy elements. At the same time it's a story about Emilie Dicksison, the writer and how she came to be a writer. Very good twist.

The other good story until the end was "Under Old New York". A post apocalyptic scenery that was well drawn. A girl, under age, is trying to make a living in New York. She mets several people, who either help her or try to give bad directions. OK good. Now, she arrives at the city and the story ends?? Why? What happenend to her? What? Pretty much dissapointing because it was flowing so well.

Anime Review: Japan Sinks 2020

First of all, if you want a good drama about earthwakes in anime - go watch Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.

Now, I believe this is one of the worst anime coming out in couple of years in terms of propaganda. Anime is being turn into propaganda. How come companies from Japan resort for this?
Are you really selling your soul because to netflix for a few bucks?

First of all - know your history. This is was previous released as a novel and then a couple of movies.

What I think from this it's crap. So being netflix - they had to bow down to their overlords. So they took characters and made them POC. Because as you know half of japanese people are foreigners - no, wait it's one of the lowest in all world.

Then they made men rapists. Of course they are they. Men are bad no matter if they are white or Japanese.

Then you got the racists - which englobs almost all nippon citizens. So when a person identify as one - they are killed by a divine buying - in this kind their own foolishness (see episode 7).

Don't talk to me about animation. It's crap. Really cheap stuff.
Irrealistic crap. All the Rap stuff. Lol. what about the phones who don't need charging?
Oh and people dying? Who cries? Noone. Even family and friends. L

How, what about who help Nippon?
This another interesting thing. All world stood behind Japan as you can imagine.

This is a globalism kind of stories. A woke that I hope never to see again.. but unfortunately Anime is no longer a Nippon kind of stuff. It will lose it's essence.

Storywise it's unrealistic of course because nippon will not fall like here. If Mount Fuji erupts we will go back to the dark ages because a nuclear winter will follow. It's like Yellowstone or the one in Indonesia...

Don't become woke Anime Industry. Netflix its a plague.

Book Review: The Deadliest Strain (Jan Coffey) 2007

What a crappy book. I thought this was some-kind of post apocalyptic fiction but instead it was a romance mixed with Kurdistan propaganda.

It was bad in every way. The plot was crappy at best. So basically there is some-kind of virus that kills very quickly and jumps pretty quickly between persons. There is not a hint of how it happens but a person which is behind bars for a lot of time might help). Thus enter our main protagonist that in a couple of minutes already makes her talk when in the previous 5 years she said no word. Then he discovers pretty quickly that she wasn't the person who they thought she was. What a crap.

From this moment on it begins a romance and he totally believe hers (5m of knowing her) which her colleagues and agency say that she was the maker of some chemicals weapons... how this guy works for the agency? How gully is he?

Then for 200 pages we receive chapter after chapter some people in the usa who are dying or some government guy being useless OR the travel of the lovebirds searching for her sister to save USA! USA! USA!

In the end, it really doesn't matter because she and her sister and he don't do anything at all and all is save accidently - a bit deus ex machina . CRAPPY

What I learn from this book? Trust everyone even if everyone and everything points that he/she is a mass murderer. USA as a bunch of useless government people; Kurdistan people are victims , Iraqi are murderers and everyone else for that matters. I learn quite a lot.

Crappy useless time

TV Series Review: Scream, Sex Education & Society (2019)

How the might have fallen. The new series is a SJW crap that deserves to be forgotten. I hope it is. I only saw because I enjoy the first two seasons but I really regret how it turn out. With 6 episodes is smaller than the previous and missing EVERYTHING the other two seasons had. Spooky scenes; thriller, interesting characters... The only reason they made this one was because of the black characters. The only two white characters, in the show, were a drug dealer and the killer itself. Enfin.

The other two shows Sex Education & Society. Both are SJW as well. The only difference is that Sex Education is not as bad as the other two. Society is a bunch of socialist crap in some episodes and then good in others. The story was made by different directors and it seems they were not in accordance on the path to take. See here my innitial thoughts.... Another show that will be forgotten with time.

In the last we've got Sex Education - is also SJW but it's not as crappier as the other two.It tries to convey ideas but unfortunately again they were taken a little two far.

Advisable: Only Sex Education can be advisable but I really don't know who I would suggest...

Anime Review: White Album 1 & 2 - The Intricacies of Selfish Love

So here we go. The futility of love and dim reality of life.

I've just finish the last episode of White Album 2. Bear in mind that I watched White Album 1 and 2 back to back in a record time of 4 days. That's 39 episodes. That's pretty awesome to me. And White Album 2 in  less than 24h.

So what can I say and why am I writing a review - because I need it.

I don't have anyone to speak about anime - nor do I have friends that I can really talk about this or my feelings for that matter so I write here and that must be sufficient to help me.

I am feeling melancholic almost on the verge of crying - and for a 38 year male to admit that - yeah.

Let starts from the beginning... White Album and White Album 2 are independent stories that happen to have the same name & musics. One is set 10 years after the other and occasionally they will tell something -remember that pop idol ? Yeah that's almost all of it.  The story is different. The characters are different and even the way they made it it's different.

And lets start from the finish - the rating. White Album 1 I would give it a rating of 2/3. White album 2 I would and will rate at 9/10. That's how different they are.

White album 1 main characters (missing the boy)
White Album 1
Both are based on a visual novel but in white album they screw up. A visual novel you play a character and then you must either guy the affection of a girl or another (or a dozen for that matters). When you "evolve" your stats in one basically the others hate you and so on. If everything goes okay you end up with one of them...  Basically it's that. What they tried to do was amalgamation of all routes but end up screwing everything up.

You got our main protagonist Touya who is dating soon to be idol Yuki but along the way of work she gets a bit distant (although she loves him deeply) and other girls try their pieces out of him and basically he sleeps with a half-dozen girls -branding himself to the viewers as a bastard.  This screws everything. If the authors wanted to make an anime with all routes they could have done something like Amagami SS where they gave you all routes in 26 episodes format (3/4 for each one) and got to decide which ending you enjoyed most. Here you ended up with a bastard who ended up lonely. Tough luck. The characters were bad - frankly bad and the main characters had no personality whatsoever. End of story.

White Album 2
In White Album 2 they learn their lesson. Out are all other side characters and we've got Haruki (The boy) who convinces Ogiso (the popular girl) to have a band after hearing her singing. They also convince Touma Kazusa (waifuuuuu!) to play with them. She is the daughter of a known artist and it's passing a rebel phase. The three of them rehearse a lot sometimes only Haruki and Touma and other times all together and play a fantastic gig in the school for all to see. Afterwards everything went down the hill.

Ogiso after the concerts asks Haruki do be her boyfriend and he happily agrees. Ogiso then tells Touma who says she doesn't care - she is a typical Tsundere character by the way.
Damn....
The school is ending and so they do a lot of stuff the three together never parting although Touma is getting distant and then stop talking all together. Ogiso is having a birthday party and invites both. Touma doesn't answer and Haruki is preoccupied and starts to understand he has feelings for her. He goes to her house and then there are reunion where Touma initially says she doesn't care about him but then breaks up crying - making all the viewers crying - in the train - and they kiss. We then have a two episode flashback of Touma and her falling in love wth Haruki - basically her point of view. We thought that Haruki only recently met her but it seems for the last 6 months or so, she frequently played piano while he play guitar (although he doesn't know who she is and she does) while at the same time he tries as the class representative to get her to school because she misses a lot. She falls in love in love and after the concert while he was sleeping she kisses him and Ogiso saw and that is why she made her move to make him her boyfriend. Flashback ended we return to the present and Haruki kisses her and she runs away. He doesn't say anything to Ogiso although she has her doubts. (She knew from the start that Touma loves Haruki and Haruki has feelings for her)

Jump forward to the end of the school (a couple weeks later) and Ogiso says that Touma is leaving to Vienna to live with her mother. When he hears this he leaves Ogiso and runs away after Touma to the dismay of Ogiso and some other minor characters -friends of them all. We later learn from Ogiso flashback that she knew everything and everything was planned (the boyfriend move) and she feels bad about it.

Touma then calls Haruki saying that she is leaving and Haruki sees her through the window and while she is talking he met her and they kiss. They made love - this scene was so interesting to see in a non-adult anime. Usually they skip these parts because the animes but here it was very nicely executed (no nudity whatsoever) but the photo on the background of the three, the cloth, the missed called from Ogiso... It was flawless.

Afterwards she says she is going to leave and he should let her go. Ogitso then learns that her plane is leaving and wants to catch up to Touma but Haruki doesn't want to go and says he wants to talk with her (probably confess or break up). Ogiso says she won't listen to him unless he comes with her to get Touma (she probably knows everything...)

As they go in the train Haruki confesses everything and Ogiso says she always knew and don't seem that upset for that matter. She admits that she made him date her because she likes the spotlight - interestingly she almost hints she doesn't love him.

In the airport they meet Touma while they are talking and Haruki embraces crying Touma. Touma looks at Ogiso and ask for forgiveness and kisses Haruki. Ogiso starts remembering some parts and admitting that she loves Haruki deeply - as much as Touma. We then see the plane carrying Touma leaving while Ogiso is holding Haruki who is crying (just to be clear - he is facing forward and she is on her back holding him).

Despite Haruki telling her to leave him, Ogiso refuses to leave, saying she'll stay with him so that her heart won't freeze over...

And then we hear the last song they play in the concert - made by Haruki all those months.

Music - Sound - if you wanna hear - it's Japanese though.

Rivals and Friends
The Lyrics

Are you pretending to be lonely? Why? I'm curious about it
Before I even realised it, I was completely charmed by you

What should I do to have my heart reflected in the mirror?

Even though my love is unreachable, I wonder if the day it is reflected will come
Until I can start to see that blurred answer
My heart cannot come alive

That day when I first called out to you and you turned around to face me
You were so dazzling that I couldn't look straight at you

What should I do to have myself reflected in your heart?

Even though my love won't come true, I wonder if the day it is reflected will come
If I can see that blurred answer, even a little
Then my love will surely start to stir

And thus end the tale. In the visual novel there are several endings but probably the most wanted it's Touma and Haruki dating and marrying... but unfortunately in the anime we don't see anything. It frustrates me.

All characters have flaws - so many flaws and they each one is selfish little interest, from the start to finish they are selfish who brought into themselves everything...

Why the creators went so far to making a great anime and then not giving us a ending. Maybe they were hoping for a second season? Who knows...

There is a complete website dedicated to the visual novel which enlighted me more... if you want to check it out.

There is so much I wanna talked but words escape me... I read a dozen reviews - this is also very good

So why did it touch me so much? I really don't know. The love concept; the lovelorn situation, drama, the mix feelings, the tragedy and then it comes to, why people watch tv shows? or animes for that matter? It's because we relate to them? It's because we put ourselves in their shoes? It's because that didn't happen to us and we wanted them? It's because...

So many questions... this anime made a dent in my heart and mind like Toradora did. Both are about romance. One with a happy ending and other not. Tsuki Ga Kirei another romance story (this one with happy ending - more perfect than the princess from disney).

I am melancholic and devastated. Need to listen to my depressive black metal. This band is helping music to hear...

Movie Review: Night of Something Strange (2016) October Horror Fest (23)

This movie is a awesome propaganda movie about having unprotected sex.
Well most of all is "Don't fuck dead people even if they are hot milf that made porn movies..."

A guy fucked a dead woman and afterwards dies.. but he doesn't stay dead - he is undead - but no the regularly kind undead that wants to eat brains - no no no - the undead that wants to fuck other people...

Then the movie really begins with a group of friends who want to go to a beach but stop in a motel. From this moment on is rough sex, comedy sex and even unwanted gay sex...

As the movie progresses we've got to watch some nasty sex scenes some gave me stomach ache... expect some nudity scenes

Blood, Sperm is all around us...

Oh my this movie sucks (sorry for the pun).. It's one of the worst movies of this October Horror Fest...

The only part I really love it was the ending, everyone dies and there is a fuck-zombie plague
