My second play through evolves 4 players against Shub-Niggurath. Shub-Niggurath or the Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young. It was created by Lovecraft but other writers really develop it's lore. It's probably the only "she" if you can interpret that way. One High Priest of Shub-Niggurath says that "she" could side with humans, as well as Yig - The Serpent God and Nug and Yeb against Ghatanothoa. She is also called in some stories The Mother Goddess.
My heroes were Trish Scarborough the spy; Bob Jenkins the Salesman; Patrice Hathaway the violist and Roland Banks the Fed.
Well, after drawing Patrice Hathaway I thought this gal is a clue magnet and she has an ability that may allow the other investigators to spend her Clue tokens, even if they are not in the same location or world. Then she draws one clue for gate and plus 5 when it reaches the 9th place of the doom track.
Trish Scarborough was someone I didn't knew how to expect since she behaves a bit differently that all characters in terms of focus. She resets each time her skill and can move up to five times. So, usually when you go up with speed you go down with sneak. If you go up with Fight you go down with Will. And the same happens with Lore and Luck. But not her. You go up with everything so in a battle you can have both will and fight which is great.
The fed and salesman are normal characters with nothing particular interesting. Th fed earns dollars and clue if he has less than 2. And the salesman can drawn double common item and choose one.

We starter pretty well with most investigators getting some clues and Bob Jenkins getting an elder sign on the Curiosite Shope so excelent first day. Then Shub went insane and he opens two gates but no doom tokens were added. One of those gates came a monster but in the other it was a monster surge. A monster surge on turn one and now we are with 6 monsters on the first day. Eric Colt befriended PH. and BJ try to defeat an Yithian and it was lost time and space.
Great Race of Yithian
"The Great Race ... waxed well-nigh omniscient, and turned to the task of setting up exchanges with the minds of other planets, and of exploring their pasts and futures. It sought likewise to fathom the past years and origin of that black, aeon-dead orb in far space whence its own mental heritage had come – for the mind of the Great Race was older than its bodily form. . . The beings of a dying elder world, wise with the ultimate secrets, had looked ahead for a new world and species wherein they might have long life; and had sent their minds en masse into that future race best adapted to house them – the cone-shaped beings that peopled our earth a billion years ago." - HP Lovecraft - The Shadow out of Time.
At the same time TS fought and destroyed a Tcho Tcho Priest and one Dimension Shambler
These "hunters from beyond" appear as short crouching creatures with tight grey mummy like skin. Its head is semi ape like and semi canine, and has crooked stained fangs. Its eyes are recessed in deep eye holes and appear as yellow slits. It has long arms with huge claws. Though it has the appearance of being material the Dimensional Shamblers origin in a different dimension makes it immaterial in our world, making it unable to touch or be touched. Humans sucked into this dimension sink into the gray ooze to have their minds and souls eaten by the Shamblers.
A new gate opened and this time it came a Hound of Tintalos.
"They are lean and athirst!" he shrieked... "All the evil in the universe was concentrated in their lean, hungry bodies. Or had they bodies? I saw them only for a moment, I cannot be certain." —Frank Belknap Long, "The Hounds of Tindalos"
The Hounds of Tindalos dwell in the distant past of the earth, when normal life had not yet advanced past one-celled organisms. They are said to inhabit the angles of time, while other beings (such as humankind and all common life) descend from curves. The Hounds are thought to be immortal and are believed to lust after something in humankind and other normal life, and will follow victims through time and space to get it. Their appearance is unknown because no characters who meet them survive long enough to give a description. It is said that they have long, hollow tongues or proboscis to drain victims' body-fluids, and that they excrete a strange blue pus or ichor.
With that we had 3 gates and 5 monsters. One of those was a Lloigor
The Lloigor take the form of invisible vortices of psychic energy, though they may sometimes make themselves manifest as great reptilian beasts, akin to the legendary dragons. In the distant past, the Lloigor came from the Andromeda Galaxy to the continent of Mu and used human slaves as their labor force. When their power dwindled, the Lloigor retreated below ground and left their former slaves to their own devices. Eventually, these early humans migrated from Mu and populated the earth.
After the first two days you've got Bob Jenkins with an elder sign; Trish Scarborough with 3 clues; Roland Banks with 4 clues and Patrice Hathaway 9 clues.
Third & Fourth Day
Trish Scarborough had a third great investigation day with 5 clues, Patrice Hathaway killed a witch and Bob Jenkins was lost and space. Another gate opened and a Mi-Go appeared. Roland Banks then killed Mi-Go and went to the Abyss and Bob Jenkins killed Yithian but burned 9 clues from Patrice Hathaway. Another gate appeared and with it a Nightgaunt but fortunally the Hound of Tintalos was banished for the time being.
After another day Trish Scarborough went to Another Dimension and another gate opened and a zombie appeared. Unfortunately next turn Roland Banks went to Another Dimension with Trish Scarborough and it lost a couple of turns... Bob Jenkins closed the gate from the Abyss. A monster surge and Tcho-Tcho appeared with a Hunting Horror, Proto-Shoggoth and a Witch. Patrice Hathaway went lost space and time and Trish Scarborough closed another gate sealing it.
